She has a Degree in Hospitality and Tourism from the Iberoamericana University (UNIBE) with internship at the Trip Bosque hotel in Palma de Mallorca, Spain, and Diploma in Culinary Arts from the Pontificia Universidad Catolica Madre y Maestra (PUCMM). She has explored gastronomic scenarios such as India, London, Spain, Peru, Italy, Germany, Colombia, Mexico, Panama, Guadalupe Islands and Turks and Caicos among others.
Chef Tita, as she has been nicknamed by the public that follows her, is the owner and chef of the restaurant "Travesías", where she makes a Dominican cuisine with an author's signature. She is a member of the Dominican Association of Chefs (ADOCHEFS) and has a prominent participation in local media such as: host of the "Cocina Gourmet" program that is transmitted nationally and internationally;
She writes about gastronomy in the newspaper Listín Diario, the main newspaper of the Dominican Republic and collaborates in several important magazines in the country.
She has participated in international gastronomic events representing the history and evolution of the Dominican cuisine as well as the "New Dominican Cuisine".
At the national level, she has been part of innumerable and relevant gastronomic events; is leader of the movement "Chefs Against Hunger", programs developed by the United Nations Organization for Agriculture (FAO); She visits constantly all the universities and culinary schools and give lectures to students of hotel and tourism in the country.
International platform that seeks to gather all stakeholders within the framework of Dominican gastronomy in order to enhance and promote together our culinary culture, emphasizing the fresh products produced in our country and contributing to raise the nutritional quality of the diet of the Dominican Republic.
